Hey gang,

Ive been gone for a while but I was handling quite a bit of personal stuff so I haven't had a chance to really say anything since Liberty made the announcement about moving to FBS, so I thought I'd say a few things.

Ive been a part of CS.com for over 7 years (hard to wrap my head around that) and had a blast posting and talking FCS football and...I think the term is ball busting...with each and every one of you over the years. With the Flames moving to FBS starting in 2018, this probably will be my last season posting on CS.com in an active sense. This will be the last year of my position previews this summer, but I want to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for some outstanding conversation. I know Im gonna miss that and getting raked over the coals a times.

Thanks for the memories CS.com and I will contiunue to read and follow because you guys (and gals because Im sure there are a few female posters in this vast community) because you are like a virtual family to me as well.

Liberty has a football team?

So, I looked up Liberty football...who knew?

According to Wikileaks...Liberty has made one FCS playoff appearance since 1989.

2 total playoff games in 37 years at this level, and no outright conference championship in that paper thin conference.

And you went 6-5 and 6-5 in the last two years.

Whew...you guys are on fire!!! No wonder you are called the Flames.
