1R - NC A&T @ Richmond

I guess the Aggies didn't bid on a home game, because it's fairly odd a team that averages 8700 in attendance is hosting a team that averages 14,500. Anyway… making this game even stranger than the fact it has a post-auto-bid at-large for the MEAC is that both squads will be without their starting quarterbacks. On the surface, this seems to hurt Richmond more because they were a lot more reliant on their QB. However, the Aggies did just get slaughtered by their archrivals (just like Richmond) without Lamar Raynard. I don't expect the Spiders to score much, but I do expect them to stack the box like crazy to take away Tarik Cohen. The game likely hinges on whether NC A&T can make them pay for doing that. The Spider secondary, however, should be just good enough to prevent that from happening.

At any rate, I don't expect the winner of this game to go any further…

Here's my assessment of the matchups & my pick for the game:

      • Quarterbacks -- (who the f*ck knows?)

Running Backs - North Carolina A&T

        Receivers/TEs - Richmond

        Offensive Line - (push)

Defensive Line - North Carolina A&T

        Linebackers --- North Carolina A&T

        Secondary ---- Richmond

        Kicking ------ Richmond

        Punting ------ Richmond

Return Teams - North Carolina A&T

        Kickoffs ------ North Carolina A&T

        • North Carolina A&T 17-20 Richmond

This is where Aggies WR Denzel Keys steps up to the plate and makes Richmond pay with the deep ball he has good size 6-4 210.He is considered a NFL Pro prospect.QB Oluwafemi Bamiro is a senior and he has enough experience he started as a true frosh for the Aggies he has decent size 6-4 211.

Richmond can lose the Affirmative Action game.

Not because NCA&T is any good (they aren't), but because injuries have depleted Richmond so much they are a JV team.

What a joke!

Richmond's JV obliterated a clown team from the MEAC.

The NCAA should NEVER invite a second place MEAC team to the playoffs again.

Yeah this pretty much confirmed that NC A&T had no business getting an at large...

The coach at A&T is too conservative that was the reason they lost he did not make any adjustments i.e THROW THE BALL MORE!!!!!!

Oluwafemi Bamiro is a cool name. I'm naming my next kid Oluwafemi Bamiro. Boy or girl or whatever identity they choose. Oluwafemi Bamiro Iola - just rolls off the tongue. Plan to call hym OBI.
