I can't help but notice how many EMPTY seats there at WaGriz Stadium. The Griz lost to EWU and NAU and all of a sudden... no more sellouts. Doesn't that kinda prove that most of you are Bandwagon fans?

They are getting sellouts. It's season ticket holders that aren't showing up, by and large.

Eastern has more sellouts this season that Montana. Eastern has more sellouts than Montana and the rest of the BIG SKY the past 4 or 5 seasons.

Damn EWU is shittin on Montana and Montana State. Got more BSC titles too. Last but not least remember how many Montana fans there were on this forum about 5-6 years ago? Like Ursus and those guys... They're gone now, just like the fans at WaGriz. FTG.

Not according to ESPN. ESPN has your attendance vs Idaho st at ~24,000. Now I'm no big city lawyer, but 24k at WaGriz is NOT a sellout.

Three of those five are above listed capacity. Average attendance is 99.996% of capacity. That isn't any different than any other year.

And that stat isn't worth much since, if Roos Field were a basketball arena, it wouldn't even be the biggest basketball arena in the conference.

Our attendance this season has been ok, but will probably taper off as the playoffs begin due to the large student population that won't be in town during that time. The big thing is that we don't really have the capacity to accommodate any larger crowds at Roos. There's a set number of tickets sold for each game which determine if it's a sellout...the variation in the below numbers comes from how many students show up (they can't be turned away). We are literally losing potential revenue due to the administration's inability to gain traction on an expansion.

vs. UNI - 9,111 (Not great, but before school started).
vs. UC Davis - 10,741
vs. UNC - 10,924
vs. Montana - 10,931

You're really bragging about attendance that's about 40% of Montana's? Well, congratulations, I guess, on your tiny stadium with seats miles from the action, that you've managed to fill with 2/5 of the fans that Montana draws. What an accomplishment!

If WaGriz had half of its capacity like EWU i'm sure it would sell out. Much easier to sell 12k tickets then 25k tickets.

All I can say at this point is that EWU is #2 in nation & UM is not. This talk about fan support & #s in the stands is getting a bit hollow w/ me. Don't know how EWU attracts the players w/ the facilities it has & UM hasn't for awhile. Maybe Beau Baldwin has something to do w/ it?

A CRAZY EWU fan started the thread and used a base epithet in the thread title. Normal EWU fans like Ranger wouldn't have done that....
