I just read an article on Yahoo that said Rutgers has been unceremoniously booted from the Big10, effective immediately. Schools left with Rutgars on their schedule will recieve an extra bye week.

ACC and Sun Belt conferences have stated under no circumstances will they allow Rutgers to join them.

Rutgers athletic director is reportedly exploring a drop down to the FCS level (Idaho already set that precedent).

RATS!!!!! I was fooled because the story was listed in my Yahoo news feed and from SB Nation. Looks like I can be fooled as much as the Chinese news organizations can be by The Onion .

But then again, another article I just read says that while Rutgers probably be staying in the Big 10, given its past shenanigans, it is definitely an embarrassment to the conference.

Given what has been happening at Rutgers the past seasons, even the FCS would turn the down. Even we have minimum standards of conduct that must be adhered to .
