Portland State has lost another player

Portland State redshirt freshman reciever Johnathan Boland has announced he is quitting football because of repeated concussions.
Even though this young man has had to give up on the sport he lad loved and played for the last 12 years, Coach Barny has not given up on him.
He says that Coach Barnum has decided to keep him on scholarship till he graduates, fulfilling the promise he made when he recruited him, even if he has to pay for that scholarship out of his own pocket.
Talk about a classy individual. Portland State is lucky to have a man like him as head coach.
