CSU travels up to the land of putt putt and 3 for $10 tee shirts this week as they face the FBS transition team Coastal Carolina. It won't count in Big South play because CCU is transitional and it's Big South games aren't counted this year.

Will this be the last time these teams ever play? I hope not. But as an FBS team...would CCU play CSU again? I don't think so. And it may be more because CSU doesn't want to. CSU uses FBS games to expand its recruiting footprint via exposing and giving coached a weekend in that area to visit high school games the Friday before the game. CSU has never played USC or Clemson.


I hope its not the case. BUT I'm afraid the CSU vs Coastal game may be the last one.

That said....I haven't seen the 2017 schedules so if they are playing next year please call me an idiot.

I think this is the final year. This year we are FCS Independent. Next year we're FBS Transitional. It's been a good series but I don't see it continuing. You guys need to big money games so you can not improve the stadium or its facilities.
