Untimely mistakes cost them the biggest win in school history losing to Arizona 31-21 they accumulated 462 total yds nothing to sneeze at!!!!!

21-3 lead and they give up 28 unanswered....nice finish.

Starting QB got hurt, backup threw 3 picks. Grambling had 6 turnovers and only lost by 10, so it was definitely a "what coulda been?"

I think it's was a great effort by Grambling but it kind of pales in comparison to Nichols State...a team that finished 3-6 in the Southland last year...losing by only 2 points at Georgia and having a real chance to win right up until Georgia converted on a critical 3rd and 7 from its own 10 yard line with about two minutes left.

To me Nicholls State had the most amazing performance of anybody in FCS this past week. I watched the game and it was like, "WTF?" They were able to physically play with Georgia play in and play out throughout the contest. It was unbelievable.

That goes without saying they will be kicking themselves for the rest of the season knowing that they had a Pac -12 powerhouse on the ropes!!!! I would quote Dennis Green but I will not.

Nah...that is a FACT. The SWAC is a joke. Their football teams suck and there is no way around that fact.

Big deal...so does the Capital Athletic Conference.

The entire SWAC is a failure on the football field. If anything, there might be some individual talent, but typical of that league, there is little leadership and even less teamwork. Hell, a SAWC team could have two NFL lineman and not be able to run or pass the ball effectively against a high school team.

Truly pathetic.

You should just admit that the SWAC is a place where bad student athletes go for a few years of insular thinking. With low graduation rates (Holy crap, what were the graduation rates, again ), it seems as though most of the players end up in Loserville while whining that they don't have more Loserville stuff.
