Someone just posted on JMU board off UD football twitter feed. I must say I wish that CAA school was JMU..

The Bison, currently ranked No. 1 in both the media and coaches' FCS polls, will host the Blue Hens in the season opener Sept. 1, 2018, at the 19,000-seat Fargodome. Delaware will host the Bison at Delaware Stadium on Sept. 14, 2019.
Why not just send another team?bluehenbillk wrote:Hopefully UD has a new HC and new QB by that time, and some WR's to throw to & an OL that can pass block.
We're willing to have another go at it89Hen wrote:Why not just send another team?bluehenbillk wrote:Hopefully UD has a new HC and new QB by that time, and some WR's to throw to & an OL that can pass block.

Heck, up there that's less than a three hour drive.Ivytalk wrote:89Hen wrote:So how far from Minny to Fargo? $350 to fly into Fargo, $140 to fly into MSP.
About 238 miles.
Google not working for you?89Hen wrote:So how far from Minny to Fargo? $350 to fly into Fargo, $140 to fly into MSP.
Only for airfare.BDKJMU wrote:Google not working for you?89Hen wrote:So how far from Minny to Fargo? $350 to fly into Fargo, $140 to fly into MSP.
You Virginia guys are silly. Went to a game at Centreville High School... you know, CVHSBDKJMU wrote:BFS
If you were trying to get a 2017 home game vs NDSU I hope they laughed directly in your ADs face as they signed the deal with CSU.BDKJMU wrote:This is what was posted on the JMU board back in March after the CSU @ NDSU Preseason game was announced:
"JMU had a contract written up to be the NDSU opponent for this FCS kickoff. The contract had a return game at BFS. NDSU declined the contract. I was shocked. We were big timed by another FCS program."
So NDSU inked a one and done contract with CSU. It could have besn JMU if JMU was willing to do a one and done for a paycheck & nationally televised game (and with Houston's 1st game as HC likely on the recevung end of an asskicking).
UD gets their return game in 2019. Maybe JMU wanted a return game 2017 or 2018 and that wouldn't work for NDSU (NDSU does have a home & home with with EWU 2016-2017 with NDSU @ EWU IN 2017). I don't know. Just a lot of JMU fans are annoyed that Montana, EWU, and now fellow CAA UD can get a home and home with NDSU and JMU couldn't. JMU now gets to host Morehead State for the opener..Whoo hoo!
My guess it was a timing issue for a return game. First and foremost for NDSU, 6 home games, period. The AD would be tarred and feathered if he ever came out with a 5 home game schedule. So the home/homes are usually limited to 12 game seasons for NDSU to do the return game.BDKJMU wrote:This is what was posted on the JMU board back in March after the CSU @ NDSU Preseason game was announced:

On a not really related note, just saw that we have 19,000 season tickets sold this year. That's like half of our population!SeattleGriz wrote:Too busy to tell us the capacity of UD's stadium.89Hen wrote:I thought you were joking. Guess not...

Never really thought of the fact we have more season ticket holders than UNDSU can fit in their whore island barn.Grizalltheway wrote:On a not really related note, just saw that we have 19,000 season tickets sold this year. That's like half of our population!SeattleGriz wrote:
