I chose Fullerton but I'd like to see LBS start up again and come back FCS and stay. Not "come back" as if they were FCS but restart it and stay.

UT-Rio Grande Valley - they are looking into it right now.

Probably Grand Canyon. I wish I could say UOP, but given that the stadium (rotten to the point of crumbling away as it was) has been demolished, it's probably not coming back, despite the fact that it's still officially classified as "suspended." There are too few seats in the Historic Grape Bowl here in Lodi (where UOP once played the occasional home game and even a couple of unsanctioned bowl games) to make that option viable, and the idea of renting DeRicco Field at San Joaquin Delta College (the local juco) down the street until a new stadium is built (not much room left on campus, anyway, after the old field was replaced by tennis courts, another area taken up by a soccer field, and the old practice field replaced by the new baseball field and beach volleyball complex) is likely laughable.

I heard Fullerton was exploring the option.

With your list, I chose Rio Grande, but I wouldn't be surprised if Wichita State comes in before all of them. It seems like every year at the end, there are some rumblings about how they want to start "exploring the possibilies". Ten years is awhile so I'd say they could make some strides and possibly have one by then.

Link? I don't see a cash strapped CA public school in an MBB only conference moving on FB...however if a FB only FCS conference out west emerges...yeah still a no go on those CA schools.

This is the article I read a while ago. granted they say the chances are almost non-existent, but the committee is at least looking at the option, and it seems to be supported my a majority of students. It probably wont happen, but I wouldn't rule out the possibility of Fullerton with a football team in the next 10 years.

Damn. Beat me to it.

Oh wait, nevermind. The question was FCS, not D2. We are def looking more toward starting a D2 program.

Fullerton. They have the facility already.

Really? Only if you think they can fit a football field in Goodwin Field (baseball), Titan Stadium (soccer) or the Titan Track Complex. Most of you guys whine about the presence of a track around a football field.

The best bet would probably be the soccer field, but they'd likely have to seriously jack up capacity.

I didn't read the article, but once they see the price tag they'll change their minds.
