I'll be doing Week 2 at a later date. If someone else feels up to doing a list for it then by all means go ahead

I doubt Weber beats Utah State, but I'd be happy if it wasn't a total beat down like last time

Delaware plays Wake Forest and would make for a great game if UD develops a passing attack.

Maybe I should recant that BBQ over USU prediction. USU just picked up my UOP position coach as their new assistant HC/RB and TE coach....

My one major upset is EKU over Purdue. Purdue have been laughably bad lately and I could see that happening

McNeese plays at Louisiana-Lafayette in week two. McNeese is 3-0 vs. the Sun Belt including a 38-17 win over the Rajin Cajuns the last time the two programs met in 2007. Also McNeese leads the historical series between the two schools 20-15-2 including 2-1 in games played while McNeese was I-AA/FCS and Louisiana Lafayette was I-A/FBS.

Louisiana-Lafayette's been better in recent years. But McNeese should be loaded if they can get decent play out of the quarterback position. I've heard really good things about a 6 foot 6 redshirt junior they have but we'll have to see.

Louisiana-Lafayette hosts Boise State in their first game so I think there's a good chance to catch them just after they got their butts kicked really bad after pointing to a big home game all summer. McNeese's "point to" game will be Louisiana-Lafayette as they host Truman State opening week.

I would hope that his success is going to continue, but given what we did last season, I have a feeling both teams are painting great big targets on us this year.

Iowa State has a new coach. Not sure how that will impact our chances.

San Jose also isn't quite the garbage program they used to be.

I know, I looked and both teams went to bowl games last season and if IIRC, both won their games.

Personally I think Idaho is a team on the verge of chaos in the coming years, who knows what Iowa State will be like next season. If it is a team still learning new offensive and defensive schemes, it might bode well for you.

Barnum's also 2-0 in the state of Washington. :thumb:

Better than in Oregon. We should move our home games to Vancouver.

Not as big of a sample size in California. Barnum is only 1-0 there.

The I-AA wins 14 of 44? You're an idiot.. I-AA win about 10% of these games. It will be more like 4-5 wins..

NDSU has Iowa in week 3, after Chuck South and EWU, followed by ISUR.

You might be correct about the proportion; however, I was merely going off of my impression of the individual teams involved. None of the FCS teams I chose are playing Ohio State....

I was checking out the FCS Stats videos on Youtube about FCS stability. Craig Haley was mentioning that the FCS commissioners were looking at the possible upcoming changes in the FBS. One thing he said that if the P-5 decides to break off on their own, he sees the possibility of a merger between the G-5 and the FCS top conferences.
