    Most Surprising Result: Montana 6, (#3) North Dakota St. 37 - The Griz finish the season scoring just 6 points in their last 6 quarters after scoring 135 in the previous 10.

I think that the worst performance was by McNeese because they kind of snatched defeat from the jaws of victory by committing two penalties after they had first and goal from the one with a chance to take the lead late in the fourth quarter. That was really, really bad.

No, it was not certain victory if they'd scored because time would've been left for Sam Houston State to retake the lead if they could. But to stop yourself like that in a situation like that with so much on the line is really, really bad. Especially when you're in the easy bracket and know that the winner of the game has an excellent chance of getting to the national title game.
