At Large Bid Prediction

Just a few hours but just for fun. I quickly went through and below is my prediction on who will get at large bids. Probably some really stupid ones in there because, as I said, I did it quickly...just kind of scanned things. Oh, and I had to put "Illinois State or North Dakota State" because I don't know which one got the automatic bid. Hope I'm right in thinking Richmond got the CAA automatic bid. If not it'd be Richmond with an at large and either William & Mary or James Madison with the automatic. Also hope I counted right in thinking there are 14 at large bids.

Coastal Carolina
William & Mary
James Madison
New Hampshire
Towson
Illinois State or North Dakota State
South Dakota State
Northern Iowa
Eastern Illinois
Fordham
The Citadel
Sam Houston State

Replace Towson or EIU with North Dakota. Wins over Wyoming and PSU and a stronger SOS.

Yeah. Towson's resume is quite weak.

Idaho State's only D1 win came at North Dakota.

Won't matter. Towson lost to Elon and their best win is against a 6-5 Nova. EIU's is against a 6-5 EKU. EIU at least has a solid OOC but Towson's resume is plain terrible.

Yeah I missed North Dakota during my quick scan. The win over Wyoming should get them in.

And the Nodaks get screwed by EIU. Totally unjustified.

I would've put UND in over EIU, WIU, and UNH.

NDSU was the autobid, but ISUR had a higher seed due to quality losses according to the committee.

Ok I only got one wrong and that was Towson. And there's no way I'd have not gotten one wrong because had I seen the argument for North Dakota before I did the list I"d have had North Dakota in there instead of Towson. No way I"d have gone with Western Illinois. I know the thing about them beating 3 other playoff teams and all but I just did not think the committee would put a 6-5 team in there as an at large. In fact one of my initial "cuts" in quickly doing the list was to isolate the teams that had at least 7 wins.
