Likely a playoff elimination game.

Yes I was hoping one of them could lose last week then would win the matchup with the other as that would keep both out of the playoffs. If McNeese does get a first round bye I really don't want the Cowboys to have to play a rematch against either of these teams and the way the playoffs are done now I think that'd be a real possibility if either makes the tournament. Nicholls State ALMOST made me happy as they had a real shot to beat Central Arkansas but failed. So now it looks like at least one of these two teams WILL be in the playoffs.

I guess I'll pull for Central Arkansas just because I like them better and they're not as much of a "mercenary" program in terms of transfers.

I can still hope that if McNeese gets a first round bye and either of these teams is in a game to decide who is going to play McNeese in the second round they will lose their first game and McNeese will get to play somebody they haven't played yet.

Good GRIEF. I would not have been surprised to see Sam Houston State win but never in my wildest dreams would I have thought they would've run all over Central Arkansas' defense like that. I know Sam Houston State has a good offense but...I mean...I just don't know. That's a defense that was able to keep Oklahoma State in check for 3 quarters and they just got completely blown off the field from the very start by Sam Houston State.
