Have fun laughing...

Harvard #5? Ivy League rated #2 conference?

NAU 11 spots below EWU?

Does the committee still use this for the selection process? Scary.

It's actually worse than that. Four of the computers have Harvard #1. Hey Dave Coulson and Ken Massey, come on here and lick my nuts, you fucking idiots. Keep defending the computers.

The Ivies are better than you guys think they are, but they aren't that good. The Masseys even have Columbia in the top half.

The Sagarins have the opposite problem. MVFC teams rank disproportionately high no matter how many games they lose. NDSU is still the #1 FCS team (by quite a bit) despite 2 FCS losses, and they haven't been below #2 at any point.

The AGS Poll has outdoen the GPI for six years in a row.

Seriously, when they got rid of the BCS formula what's the point of keeping the GPI around excepts for shits, giggles and wiping shit off your asscrack with it?

dont believe so.

I think EIU being number 1 in the GPI and getting blown the fuck out that one year ended that

I watched the top two Ivy schools play a couple weeks ago. They looked like they were running in quicksand the entire game. Slow motion. Molasses. Whatever you want to call it. They are good in their own little bubble...outside of that bubble, mmmmm, not so much.

Was really two fold. One, show me how good we think they are. Very few here have ever said they sucked. And two, give me any evidence that they would be competitive in the playoffs. There were years when an Ivy went 7-0 in the Ivy and lost their only OOC game against a team that wasn't in the Patriot (rare). Truth is, the best Ivy team is probably about as good as the best MEAC or Patriot team. IOW, never in the top 10 (it's been a long time since Colgate 2003).

It was from the general tenor of you guys and especially a lot of the posters on AGS. A lot of people seem to think the Ivy is just as insulated and bad as the SWAC & Pioneer, which just isn't the case judging from their non-conference results. The Ivy is clearly better than the Patriot League (they won the season series by a few games), and that would put them also a bit above the SWAC, Pioneer, NEC and MEAC. They're pretty close to the OVC, Big South, and SoCon, I would estimate, and probably better than the Southland given the surplus of lousy teams that conference has. Keep in mind that the Ivy League is better than usual this year because every single team returned at least 13 starters.

Patriot League posters on AGS are making a case for Penn, Harvard and Darmouth to all be in the top 15-20
