Just wanted to mention that McNeese QB Daniel Sams was tabbed TATS FCS National Offensive Player of the Week as well as Southland Conference Player of the week while Cowboy punter/place kicker John Breaux was named Louisiana Sports Writers Association Special Teams Player of the Week and Southland Conference Special Teams Player of the week for their performances against Sam Houston State this past Saturday.

I remember Sams from K-State, vs the Bison.

Yes I have joked in the past after watching the play below that K State should've let him carry the ball more than 2 times. But I think anyone can see his potential in terms of running the football in that play. And it's proven out.

He's under the radar and I think he may be one of the more dangerous players in terms of big play capability in the subdivision. He can take it to the house running the football from anywhere on the field and he has a big arm. It's kind of weird because he can frustrate a fan in that he misses too much on routine throws; especially short ones...yet he can throw the ball accurately deep and this year McNeese has two dangerous deep receivers. He can turn a "nothing" play into a long touchdown at any time.
