Not sure it's quite that simple. The threat was found on Sunday, but the venue change/class cancellations weren't announced until Wednesday. I'm guessing they investigated a bit before making those decisions. It probably is a hoax, but—since they apparently couldn't prove it—they erred on the side of caution.
