Cal Poly 41-51 EWU — The triple option will feast on EWU's run defense, but it won't be enough
NAU 31-24 Davis — Definite letdown potential here for the 'Jacks, but Davis's defense is too banged up
Weber 7-37 Montana — The Griz play their easiest game of the year, though Weber won't be as awful as last week
Sac 20-45 Montana St. — Perfect regrouping opportunity for the Bozemanites
Idaho St. 24-31 NoDak — ISU could pull the upset if Sanders can play decent, but I'll take UND's version of the barn
Portland St. 28-17 Un-Texas — Can the Viks go 2-0 versus FBS? They should…

33-13 so far coming in to this weekend. Almost a full slate of conference action and that makes picking these winners tough.
CP at EWU---Here's hoping the Eagles used the bye to heal and get back to business. The Mustangs certainly found out how to win, but they won't have as much offense here...EWU 38, CP 32.
ISU at UND---The Bengals showed some slight glimpses of life last week, but they will definitely need to wake up to crack that tough Dakotans defense. Too much defense and the Bengals have none...UND 28, ISU 12.
NAU at UCD---The Lumberjacks got back in consideration for the conference title, but they do need to have a good road game. They may get a test from the Aggies who like to keep it close...NAU 31, UCD 20.
PSU at North Texas---The Vikings are going for their second win over the FBS this season. They had only two wins against the FBS entering this season. Just a bit short...North Texas 21, PSU 20.
SAC at MSU---The Hornets need to wake up from the funk they are in as they encounter an angry Bobcats team looking to feel good again. The Bobcats offense goes crazy...MSU 52, SAC 35.
WSU at UM---The Wildcats were potential contenders until their no-show last week. Asking to get well against a strong Grizzlies team may be too much...UM 26, WSU 14.

Waterboy was an official position back then. Why they needed a position coach though, is anyone's guess.

2-4? 35-17 for the year. Terrible week, but PSU win over North Texas...PRICELESS!!!

I was sixth string QB for a year before the school pulled the plug on the program. I likely had no chance of seeing the field, barring a major rash of injuries, outside of Senior Day.
On the other hand, it almost happened. There was talk of burning my redshirt (as our punter) after our combo kicker broke his leg falling down a flight of stairs while visiting a friend at Stanford. We had a ton of other place kickers (including one with a prosthetic kicking leg), and we ultimately had the current Rams special teams coordinator take over as the punter. Probably a good idea. I'm not even certain I could have hit a 40 yard punt....
