Bizarre way to finish the half. ISU attempts a field goal on 3rd down with 10 seconds. Play clock sits on zero for 5 seconds, BSU runs a player out on the field then the player returns to the bench, ISU snaps the ball with the BSU player still on the field and the play clock still at zero. ISU misses the field goal but BSU is called for 12 men on the field. They don't reset the game clock, leaving it at 6 seconds. ISU then tries a pass that is incomplete and time runs out. The officials look at replay while ISU runs off the field (BSU stays on the field). The officials then put 2 seconds back on and ISU returns, to attempt one pass play (not a field goal) that falls incomplete. 21-0 Boise.
I don't think I've seen that type of play sequence in a football game before.

Jalmond, thanks for getting this thread going, but it is certainly not necessary.
ISU, not ready for the prime time.... and hoping they can win one more game in 2015: WEBER.

Also odd about this game is Boise lost their starting QB midway through the 1st quarter. They played most of the game with their second and third string quarterbacks getting most of the reps. Their fourth string QB played the last half of the 4th quarter.
