Crap (injury thread)

Ok I know I'm not the only one with reason to whine about injuries to may favorite team. Like I think I heard yesterday while taking a look at the EWU/UNI game that Cooper Kupp got injured in that game and if that's true and he can't play or is significantly affected that's a big one.
But it seems like EVERY YEAR McNeese State very quickly suffers a bunch of injury problems to key players. So this year I'm really excited about this redshirt freshman back named Benjamin Jones. He was the 2014 Louisiana Class AAA hundred meters champion and he's also got that quickness and "waterbug" ability that allows him to get into space so that he can use the jets. He was the MVP of the Spring game with a performance that included a 51 yard TD run then during the final August scrimmage he had a 60 yard TD run to go along with a 62 yard TD on a short pass followed by a long run.
So he's in the game against Incarnate Word last night when the outcome has already been decided and he gets whacked. Looked pretty bad to me. Looked like a "probably gone for the year" knee injury.
They'd already lost short yardage specialist Dillon Long for the year during August. So now just like that they've lost both their best short yardage back and their biggest home run threat back. It sucks.
