Not Jackson State, Jacksonville State, or Jack Wagner State... But Pioneer League Jacksonville? The fucking Dolphins???
Did Delaware really lose to them? I mean, really? For serious?

The Hens are in a very dark place right now. Think Torson in the Patriot dark.

Andy - could be the worst UD team of modern times. It's ugly. The new coach came in & went into immediate rebuild mode.
Simply put - we don't have a QB, the OL is shaky, almost all our receiving targets from last year are gone - to the NFL or jail and the team is coached scared.
On the bright side we may have the best punter in the nation...

Yeah, at least the Hens will go down
kicking and screaming.
BTW, you asked me who I thought was better. The kid from SHSU is a really, really good punter. That would, of course, send the GoHens board into a tizzy...but that guy can kick. So can Enderson.
KCK just said he believes he has the best punter in the country.
I think they both will go to the next level.

Andy can relate... that's the best position for his beloved Redskins.

Yep KC will be coaching well into December. At least Delaware fans know Thanksgiving weekend will be free.

You can reliably count each year on some bullshit team(s) to beat Delaware and claim it's some major benchmark victory for their program.
To me, that's the most annoying thing of all about how bad Delaware has become the past five years.
The program needs to be killed. I am firmly convinced of it. There's a huge difference between cyclical down years for great programs and the result of a concerted effort by a University to deemphasize a program. UD is clearly the latter.

Well, JU it turns out JU isn't a non scholly team..from July (may have been posted here earlier in the summer):
"
Pioneer League punishes JU for violations; football team banned from postseason again
.....The Jacksonville University football team was hit with a one-year postseason ban and must forfeit five seasons of conference victories for financial aid improprieties, the school announced Friday.
The Pioneer Football League accepted a slew of self-imposed penalties and added the one-year ban, ending a saga that began last November on the eve of the Dolphins’ biggest game in program history.
Also gone are three football coaching positions, JU’s junior varsity program and roster spots (from 130 to 96) in addressing violations that athletic director Donnie Horner called “severe.” The Dolphins’ 30 PFL victories from 2010-14 will get an asterisk due to forfeit......
......All PFL schools are non-scholarship programs. Financial aid can’t be given based on athletic ability.
That’s what JU had been doing for years and at an alarming rate.
JU’s leadership scholarship — the financial aid package in question — was awarded abundantly to football players between 2010-’14, with those athletes receiving 79.7 percent of the scholarships available in that period.
The independent review found 23 of 24 starters on the 2013 team were on the leadership scholarship, while a random sample of the school’s population found that just 6 percent of students had been given that same aid...."
