It's either "tré" or "tres".

And I used it first, I'm suing for damages.

Tough week when The Battle For Chucktown could hold the most interest.

I'm not sure what SIU is packing this year ... it's never too late to turn before you burn with Flame football, right Griz ?

If your cable package includes ESPN College Sport Extra, you can see these games on your TV.

Nice rebound in the number of games this week ---- from 13 in Week 4 to 20 this week. ESPN typically reduces the number of FCS games as the season progresses.

Replays stream for 30 days ---- Week 1 replays will drop after this weekend

ESPN does not have the game listed, but the Lamar Tweeter has their game @Northwestern State -- 7:00PM EDT being streamed on the Trey.

Being that the NWST rushing defense gives up on average 6.81 yds per carry and 312 rushing yds per game (with 4.5 rushing TDs/game), and that Lamar's Kade Harrington rushed for 347 yds last week . . .

It might be one for the record books :)

As always, you can watch most Big Sky games (including UM/PSU) for free here:

SoCon, S-land, OVC, and MVFC with semi-yuuuugggge games.

Nobody cares about Montana State beating SUU, but I bet it's on http://eversport.tv/big-sky" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and I'm too slack to go check.

Playoffs come into focus after this week --- seeds are likely from this bunch:
Jacksonville State
North Dakota State
McNeese State
Costal Carolina
South Dakota State
Illinois State
William & Mary
Chattanooga
Richmond
Eastern Washington

I wish the CLASH OF THE CARDINALS was on. I'm talking about Lamar at Incarnate Word. Lamar's Kade Harrington is averaging 200 yards per game and is 195 yards short of a 2,000 yard rushing season. Incarnate Word is coming off a game during which it held Southeastern Louisiana to 39 yards rushing. Lamar needs the game to have a chance to finish with a winning record. If Incarnate Word wins the San Antonio version of the Cardinals will almost certainly finish 7-4 as they finish the season at Houston Baptist.

Meanwhile poor Kade Harrington has rushed for 282, 243, 255 yards during Lamar's last three losses. The 1805 rushing yards he's got is a new Southland Conference single season record and he's still got two games to play. It's kind of sad to see a guy perform like that and not have it translate into a better won/loss record for his team.

Record year for FCS game streams on ESPN
--- roughly 40% more regular season games than last year

With the big finish of Payton Award Winner (!) Kade Harrington against McNeese State !

I'll be mostly watching McNeese State at Lamar but to me the obvious choice for best game among those listed is Sam Houston State at Central Arkansas. If you're looking at it from the standpoint of the two teams involved that's effectively a playoff game.

St. Francis vs. Duquesne is also effectively a playoff game but, honestly, I think the question of who makes the playoffs between Sam Houston State and Central Arkansas is more important.

The only other POSSIBLE game that has playoff implications for both teams is Eastern Kentucky and Eastern Illinois. And, frankly, I don't think either of those teams is going to be in the playoffs regardless of what happens.
