I've thought that ever since the first time I turned on a game he was in and saw him do that dancing crap at the start of the game. This thing with deserting the school that believed in him out of high school and gave him a shot as well as deserting the team mates he had just reinforces the impression. The guy is a prick.Cluck U wrote:Why?JohnStOnge wrote:He's a prick. A talented prick. But a prick.
He is a capitalist. He took another job with a higher paying company.
That's 'Merica, baby!![]()
The fact he is now starting for a top 5 FBS program and all the exposure that brings completely vindicates his decision. He did the right thing.JohnStOnge wrote:I've thought that ever since the first time I turned on a game he was in and saw him do that dancing crap at the start of the game. He has a chance to really improve his draft stock and make millions more on an initial contract. Regardless of how it works out in the end, I don't blame him at all.kalm wrote:The fact he is now starting for a top 5 FBS program and all the exposure that brings completely vindicates his decision. Wearing Oregon apparel around campus and the way the rule shakes out is another matter.
Who said that? I care.Grizalltheway wrote:But really guys, we don't care that he left!
Lighten up you insufferable bore, it's a meme.GannonFan wrote:He graduated. What if he was a chemistry major and graduated early and left EWU to start working for some chemical company? Would he be a prick and a traitor because he left his classmates in the lab to go and moved on to pursue his career? Get over it, once he graduated from EWU he had done all he had to do for that school. He's just pursuing his post-graduate career.
I agree.UNI88 wrote:He has a chance to really improve his draft stock and make millions more on an initial contract. Regardless of how it works out in the end, I don't blame him at all.kalm wrote:

Nobody would ever deny that Adams isn't a total douche' (we've settled that long ago)kalm wrote:The fact he is now starting for a top 5 FBS program and all the exposure that brings completely vindicates his decision. He did the right thing.JohnStOnge wrote:

Who was the last Oregon QB who did anything in the NFL? I hope it works out for him. He seems like a decent guy and a proud parent. As long EWU holds onto their coach he'll make any QB who laces up for him look like a stud. I'm looking forward to the UM EWU rivalry for years to come cause they have two of the brightest minds in College football.

Yep. Nobody even vaguely good in the NFL since Chris Miller.dbackjon wrote:HenZoneNation wrote:There have been plenty of FCS QB's who have been drafted high and succeeded in the NFL. We will see what Mariota does, but this is a bad NFL list

That's silly. He'll get looks and has a good chance to get drafted. If the cards fall right he might even get a chance to play. Accuracy and the ability to process information quickly > than height. If you get the opportunity.SACCAT wrote:First off...VA walked by our tailgate last year, after they beat us (Bobcats) 51-50. It was a heart breaking loss for us, and when he walked by he made a point to come over and say "great game by the Cats, I really thought you had us, good luck this year" This was to MAJOR boosters and corporate sponsors. It was a classy move, and I won't forget it any time soon....
That being said....the kid is 5'10" at best, he will not be looked at by the NFL

So you're saying he's the same size as the guy who just signed a $120 Million dollar NFL contractSACCAT wrote:First off...VA walked by our tailgate last year, after they beat us (Bobcats) 51-50. If Adams has a good year under the Oregon system my guess is he is a 4th or 5th round pick by PhillyTrapped in CA wrote:Looking at the QB situation in Philly, you don't think Chip Kelley would at least have a sit down with VA?
He's quick and elusive but not really that fast. I agree with the rest. His football IQ in terms of knowing and feeling where pressure is coming from and when to take off or throw is impressive. He has a great clock.Chizzang wrote:

The kid can make pretty much every pass in the book
He's fast and knows how to avoid being hit
His Football IQ is exceptional (according to those who know)
Plus: Kelly gives ZERO F*cks what anybody else thinks
Kelly would have to take a shot at him.
