Friday August 28th - Friday Before The NDSU/Montana Game

I am putting together a party bus booze cruise of the local Missoula breweries for NDSU fans that are there on Friday.

We will be using this bus
Image

We can fit about 20-25 people on it, there is no charge for this but throwing a few bucks in the tip jar is always appreciated to help pay for gas.

If you are interested in this send me a PM or email at alphagriz1@gmail.com also let us know what kind of keg beer you guys want to drink. The bus can hold up to 16 kegs in the cooler.

I guess people could also post the kind of beer they want in this thread and I will tally it up and pick the most popular. Preferably beer from Big Sky Brewery since they give us deals on their beer for the bus.

Right now I have about 7 people lined up for this event and it will be Friday still deciding on a time but it will be something like noon/1pm to about 5-6pm that way you can still go out in downtown Missoula.

Thanks and travel safe

Only 16 kegs? What's NDSU gonna drink?

PS -- Nice party bus!

Don't be a fool, it's all a ruse. They drive up to Canada, duct tape anti-Canadian signs to your hands and dump your asses.

Sorry AG1, can't make it. Flight comes in too late on Friday. Thanks for the effort. Hope you fill the bus.

I would like to go, but don't get into Missoula early enough. Thank you for the offer.

Exactly. This really isn't rocket science. No need to make it more complicated than it need be.

Mo Club, cheese burger & beer for your base.
Reds, have some drinks.
Mo Club, more drinks.
Reds, additional drinks.
Mo Club, more additional drinks.
Reds, order an aperitif to round out the evening.
(If the bartender knows what an aperitif is then you're in the wrong bar)

If you really want to shake it up throw in the Top Hat and Stockmans. Though nowhere in the evening's entertainment is a bus required except to drop off the folks at the end of the night. :ugeek:

I guess it depends on your age and interests, but for Griz weekends, these are my staples (in no particular order):

Al's and Vick's (or James Bar is you want to feel classy)
Double Front (preferably the basement)
Charlie B's
Union Club
Rhino
Tamarack (great brunch/Blood Mary bar)
Red's
Flipper's (for a much better burger than MoClub)

That's a nice plan for poor people.

The bus is a damn good time and the Bison fans are a whole lot of fun to party with so it's gonna work out well I'll bet. It did when we did it for the App fans a couple years back anyway.

I will see ya at Red's and Mo Club later on though I'd bet. :thumb:

Flippers is a good burger and has been since the late 80's. I'd still probably go with the MO over it unless it's stepped up a bit in the last 10 yrs. cuz I haven't had a flip in at least that long.

Speaking of Double Front basement. We are heading down there Thursday night it sounds like if any on here can or want to show up.

Thursday night around 6 or 7 it looks like.

And of course by truth I mean my own personal preference. But don't tell grizza, I like where this fightin thing is going.

I have to say there were a few times that I had better burgers at Flipper's but MO is consistently a real good one over the last decade since the ownership switch...that took it back to what it was originally.

Both are damn fine bargers.

Skimmed the original post and assumed he was just telling people to shit or get off the pot so he could plan this thing.
