Montana will play the Washington Huskies in 2017 and 2021, and will play the Oregon Ducks in 2019.

And Drake, and St. Francis (PA), and Valpo…

It's nice to see the Griz playing brand new opponents, though that Valpo game has the potential to be real ugly.

Shoot man, with some pretty solid payouts.. almost 2 million for the three Pac games.

St. Francis, Valpo, Drake.........maybe those schools aren't the best for playoff contention, but some solid recruiting- a Midwest turf scuffle with Mvfc? some handy work there.

Also an awful lot of good football being played in PA

Well...at least you didn't get stuck with WA and OR in the SAME blinking season. I'll never forget UOP's last football schedule (yeah, I know UOP was BARELY I-A at the time).

Fresno State (A)
Arizona (A)
Nebraska (A)
Oregon (A)
Oregon State (H)

That was in the first six weeks, with the bye somewhere in there. The Tigers got ONE win out of that stretch (OSU, which you guys probably figured), but it beat them up so bad that the best they could do with a crap Big West schedule was 3-8.

I hope NOBODY on this board has to endure a crazy schedule like that.

:ohno:

Welcome to the 21st century. :coffee:

If you mean P5/BCS conference ("power conference" is usually a term for the top FCS conferences), then it was 2011 when the Griz played Tennessee.

We prefer to leave the charity games to programs in need, like EWU.

And he'll be replaced with one of three QB's who will be better than anything the Griz have.

Not just about the money. Playing the PNW Pac-12 schools is important for the program in terms of exposure and recruiting as well.

Cool. We've nabbed some pretty good players from the PNW in recent years, despite not having played a PAC 12 school since 2005. thumb:

How do you know? Our presumed starter has played like 3 snaps in college. :suspicious:

Beau Baldwin, Zach Hill (QB's coach) and recent history. It's a safe bet. It's like recognizing that Henderson would probably be the #3 or 4 WR in Cheney. Might push for two if he really performed.

The thing is… EWU's quarterbacks have to be that good for the team to not suck.

You over-extended your reach on that one. You gotta keep the trolls within the realms of reason, or else you snap us out of the illusion

Most of your posts are just trying to rile up Griz fans. But you strayed too far out into crazytown with that one, so the troll failed

Have you been keeping track? What's the score? :)

In all honesty, they're just reactionary. Very few times do I instigate. I respect the program more than half of Griz nation.

And I think Henderson is a solid talent. But his numbers are similar to Bourne as a #3 last year and Shaquille Hill is certainly no slouch.

Yeah. Never mind EWU throws the ball over 100 times more per season than the Griz. :coffee:
