I don't know who lost what and who has what coming back, but I say Fordham for 2 reasons:
-Based on the last 2 years they've DOMINATED the Patriot (12-0). Their last 2 seasons they've finished 12-2 (11-1 regular season) and 11-3 (10-2 regular season).
-The fact that they still have a leg up on the other Patriot schools scholly wise. FU began going scholly in 2010. I believe they reached around 60 by 2013 if not sooner, when they knocked off Temple. So they'll be at at least their 3rd year at around 60.

The rest of the Patriot schools are at only max 45. 2012 article:
"The Patriot League plan will allow schools to begin offering 15 athletics scholarships in football beginning with the 2013 season, with the potential to add 15 per year up to the predetermined limit of 60."

Course I don't know why if they are going to allow 60 for everyone by next year, they don't just make it the NCAA wide allowable 63 for I-AA...

BucBisonatLarge wrote:I picked Fordham over Bucknell on the fact that the Bison-Ram game is on Rose Hill this year. That said, Bucknell has played very well at Fordham in recent years. Both Lehigh and Lafayette have a ways to come back. Holy Cross may be #3, or the Colgate-Bucknell game in Hamilton at the end of the season will determine the final bridesmaids' position. While I have a lot of respect for Georgetown, I think it may be next year before the new coaching regime takes hold. When that happens, I think that we will all be hoping our scholarships will be enough to counter a much better program on the MSF.
Welcome!!

Officially I am picking Lehigh to win. Unofficially I think they are a year away (and Bucknell likely will take it).

JJ will be impossible to live with. What CAA team gets Fordham as their first round bye in the playoffs?
