Your concern for the SoCon is touching.

Since we have a top 10 team, and a couple of other schools ranked in the top 25 (depending on the poll) Samford and Western Carolina, I think we are well on the way back to relevance in the FCS. Just keep your eyes open and watch this season, last season one team in the playoffs, this year at least two.

After all, we're only one year removed from losing two of arguably the BEST schools in the FCS to moving to the FBS. We'll be OK.

It is kinda a big who gives a shit. Last year the SoCon made it as far in the playoffs as every other conference except Missouri Valley and the CAA.

The year before that the SoCon didn't go quite as far but the reviews from most NDSU fans were that the SoCon team gave them their best game in the play offs. Now, on the other hand, it is arguable that GSU was the second best team in the country in 2012, but it isn't like it is that much of a fall.

The real problem right now with the exception of a few outliers, is it seems to be the MVFC and then every body else.
