sure there is an "early" kickoff game a week before the other teams start play..... the traditional countdown should start when 99.9999% of the team start play.

I think he's right dback. I know with the early games they are usually overlooked and the opening of the season is considered to be the day the majority of teams open. Last year the early game was ignored when it was EWU/SHSU in favor of the next weekend.

Well the GAS countdown is the one that started it all over so I assumed the one here was done by him as well in the past for the most part. I remember the numbers lining up here and on AGS I think anyway.

We ignored the early game last year when doing the countdown (aside from some pedantic EWU troublemakers, of course ). I know GAS based in on whenever App State's first game was. Basing the countdown on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend would probably be the best option barring a better idea. What I can't remember is if the day of the first game is "0 Days" or if it was the day before the first game.

As the person who usually does this for the Griz, I agree with UAH that AGS & here should line up. It's a lot less annoying that way.

Oh yes of course I was acting like that. I have an inflated sense of self. Truth be told I just try to be extremely clear in anything I say that might be taken the wrong way. I love this board and the membership and the fantastic discussions that go on here. I never try to criticize this place or the membership as a group. In fact I have no problem being very complimentary of it.

If guys from here like andy, you, or anyone else want to take pot shots I try to just let it slide cuz I'm pretty sure you are somewhat saddling me with things I never had any part of over there. But I never want to be misunderstood as taking pot shots back so I do quickly try to defend or sort that out. You guys are people I consider friends.

I took two years off from AGS and made one post in a thread last year (or maybe it was 2013) that Syntax Faggot started and my post disappeared. And so I will never visit the site again. Was I trying to make him go crazy and hopefully commit suicide? Yes. Yes I was. Nothing personal with you or Chizzang Part 2. I just have unresolved PTSD from that place.

Dude if a post disappeared there I don't know how it could have gotten by me. But around that time it was possible I suppose cuz it was before I took the power to do that away from a mod that had some trouble breaking from his old habits. I apologize. I don't do things like that man, I really don't.

I completely understand all other takes on the place.
