Kick some ass coach! :notworthy:

What is he, 14-3 now in FCS playoffs? If you can endure his bland play calling in the regular season, the dude is money in playoffs.

WTF did Delaware get rid of him?

Bad regular seasons toward the end and a donor who paid for his buyout. At Delaware, we expect playoffs two out of three years, and Keeler was making it one out of three and worse after 2010.

Honestly, we win the chipper in 2010 and he'd still be here. That one left a mark.

You're right on Wayne. Super impressive playoff record - he knows how to coach teams after Thanksgiving!!

I don't mean to challenge your math, but if KC was getting to the playoffs one out of three years, and you say it was worse after 2010, well, he was 0-2 after 2010, zero is zero after all, but he never got that third year (which would have been 2013, with a new OC), to balance out the math. My bet is that we would have made it in 2013 with a new OC...and probably 2014 with our weakest schedule in forever. Can't prove it, but it is hard to say that he got worse after 2010.

Either way, I wish him well. UD, whether letting him go was correct or not, handled the whole situation poorly.

But hey, we've got 2016 to look towards. :ohno:

I think you'll agree that no playoffs in 05, 06, 08, 09, 11, 12 is a once every three years pattern in progress, no?

I did wonder about the sunglasses thing. But we all know it's almost certain that Sam Houston State would not have been in the semis this year if Villanova had not lost its starring QB. They got a good draw in getting to play another Southland team that lost to Southeast Missouri State and Stephen F. Austin during the regular seaosn then an OVC team in the second round. Then they got Villanova without the Payton Award winner.

Incredibly lucky sequence of events. But tonight they pretty much verified that the result is that North Dakota State got an easier opponent in the semifinals than it had to get by in the first round and the quarterfinals.

Horrible play calling and no adjustments for SHSU last night.

Their Oline were coming off the field bitching at one another because they couldn't block Kyle....

NDSU did rack up some sacks. Yet I was struck by how much time the QB for SHSU typically had. For most of that game their O line did a pretty good job.

This is now the 8th time you have mentioned that Sam beat nova without their starter. Why? I think i get you now. There is no way a SLC team other than Mcnese can ever be a contender. How sad for you. Your team is no longer relevant and another slc team is a national fcs power.

Except he's spot on in this particular case.

Losing to a D-II, even if they DID just win their NC, should automatically disqualify a team from being in the playoffs.

Except in this case it doesn't. :o
Too bad teams that didnt lose to the DII national champ weren't good enough to beat the Bearkats before they made the Semis for the 3rd time in 4 years. How embarrassing.

Agreed 100%. Thanks for making his point on the "easy draw".

all joking aside.

Not as easy as all the BSC draws the Kats had before. Those were like a knife through butter.

Oh. Ouch. That really hurts. Cuts deep.

I'll take that as an admission that you know, deep down in places we don't talk about at parties, you KNOW he's right about SHSU. THIS year. All the past years don't matter much, do they?

Maybe you should lobby for a bowl system.

SELA- not easy.
JSU- maybe just a bit over rated. But your only measuring stick is Sam houston who you are biased against.

Playing 3 games on the road. Yeah thats easy. Not like unh who got the winner of FU and sacared heart then chatty. That was much harder road to the semis. (Sarc off).

It's an accepted fact (except those with EC(b)) that the Eastern Brackets are always easier because all of the soft autobids (with the exception of San Diego 8-) ) lie in the East. But saying UNH got an easy road to the semi's doesn't negate the fact that SHSU had one too. Now, if you want to argue which was EASIER....that's a different discussion.

I enjoy watching seasonal CSers get all butt hurt when they get defeated by NDSU. Just take the loss like a man and get over it. It happens to everyone, every year.

:suspicious:

"Western" bracket this year: Fordham, Sacred Heart, EKU, San Diego...

What was the "western" bracket last year? You had Montana/SUU on one side, and EWU/NAU on the other.
