    Most Surprising Result: Sam Houston St. 37, (#3) Jacksonville St. 26 - Halftime adjustments: SHSU pitches a second-half shutout after allowing 26 points in the first.

CAA Refs call of the day - They called a tipped pass on a pass interference call. Lucky it was reversed with the replay. Glad the CAA refs are in the CAA and not the MVFC.

Pass was a few feet over the player they said tipped the pass.

Southern's WR core was held in check especially Jones the Braves used double teams on him to neutralize his deep speed.Also the pass rush didn't hurt either.
