You want to talk about Harvard-Yale, have at it. But I wouldn't put them on the GOTW list.Grizalltheway wrote:89Hen wrote:I-64 battle. It's the only true play-in game of the lot.![]()
Talk about a battle of the wine and cheese pinky-lifters.
You mean two teams who have won the NC more recently than the cold and loud crew.Grizalltheway wrote:89Hen wrote:I-64 battle. It's the only true play-in game of the lot.![]()

I must have missed where Bill and Mary won one?89Hen wrote:You mean two teams who have won the NC more recently than the cold and loud crew.Grizalltheway wrote:![]()

Ha, that's what I get for thinking it was JMU vs Richmond.Grizalltheway wrote:I must have missed where Bill and Mary won one?89Hen wrote: You mean two teams who have won the NC more recently than the cold and loud crew.
Depending on other games, they both may get in, win or lose.89Hen wrote:I-64 battle. It's the only true play-in game of the lot.

Not a snowball's chance in hell. The only 7-5 who could get in would be UNI if they lose Sat.Gil Dobie wrote:Depending on other games, they both may get in, win or lose.89Hen wrote:I-64 battle. It's the only true play-in game of the lot.
Yep. 2 CAA games on national TV on NBC Sports this week, and the UR/W&M game is one of them at 7:30 PM ECB time..89Hen wrote:I-64 battle. It's the only true play-in game of the lot.
Would be great if this legendary game had playoff implications.Ivytalk wrote:Meh. Harvard-Yale FTW.![]()
Johnny Harvard already has earned a share of the Ivy marbles. If he wins, he keeps them all and genuflects to Wall Street. If he loses, he has to share his marbles with Eli Yale and maybe Dick Dartmouth.
A 7-5 William & Mary has a better resume than a 8-4 Idaho St or NAU. Richmond loss to Maine was a bad loss.BDKJMU wrote:Not a snowball's chance in hell. The only 7-5 who could get in would be UNI if they lose Sat.Gil Dobie wrote:

Idaho St playing 2 FBS, Chadron not a bad DII, but Simon Fraser. At best 6-3 vs FCSkalm wrote:Gil Dobie wrote:

Perhaps, but there's more to a resume than DI wins. I would take ISU over W&M, W&M over NAU. But I would stop short of saying either has a better resume .Gil Dobie wrote:Idaho St playing 2 FBS, Chadron not a bad DII, but Simon Fraser. At best 6-3 vs FCSkalm wrote:

NAU played FBS, new FCS Abilene Christian and DII with 3 bad losses. Would they beat EWU this week? 7-3 vs FCS
W&M played FBS, 3 FCS, losses to 3 top 10 quality teams. At least 7-4 vs FCS
If they were to play each other, I'm putting money on William and Mary against either team.
It will be interesting to see if this weeks games clear up the last few playoff spots.kalm wrote:Perhaps, but there's more to a resume than DI wins. I would take ISU over W&M, W&M over NAU. But I would stop short of saying either has a better resume .Gil Dobie wrote:
