"Fans" don't have any say, and Super Dave is making about 4 x what the Montana job pays already.

Joe Glenn might be free after a second winless mvfc season in three years.

He has played big sky teams pretty well.....

Glenn left Missoula in the middle of the night with his headlights off. In effect he left a bad taste in the mouth of many Grizzly fans. We always expect our coaches to move on for higher paychecks, it is the price of success. Yet the way he did it makes me pleased to see the "success" he has enjoyed since then in WYO & So Dakota.

Not to mention he's never coached American football.

They do if they have cash and are regular donors....

I'd be a little surprised if he was fired, given the lack of talent he inherited.

Glenn's not gonna leave his alma mater voluntarily, either, so he'd have to be fired to come to UM.

If that were the case, they'd hire whomever the Washingtons wanted every time. :coffee:

7-27 (6 d1 wins) in his time at usd with one game against sdsu left this year.

He is 3-20 in conference games. Every win came in a 3 game stretch in 2013 that was capped with a miraculous (re: lucky) double OT win over a UNI team that was starting about 8 third stringers. Those other wins were a 0 d1 win Indiana State by 3 and 5 win Missouri state by 3. Since that game USD is 1-14 against D1 teams (0-11 in conference) and hasn't been truly competitive in any conference games losing by am average score of 35-12 ish.

I don't know who they'd bring in but they can't let that continue without attempting to make a change? Can they?

Looks like a couple quality coaches have started to express interest.

I'm not sure how Leipold will recruit at/in this level/region (UWW is non-scholarship), but he seems to be the best of the 3 listed here.

I've heard a lot of rumors about Pease's temperament & arrogance. That could be a disaster if he doesn't control it.

Pflugrad?     :?

I would love to see Pflugrad come back but NO way in hell Royce would hire back a guy he let go just 3 years ago.

He was partially responsible for the NCAA violations, too, so I can't imagine a lot of higher-up people (perhaps even the Board of Regents) would be thrilled with that idea.

It'll be interesting to see who they hire.

Mick hasn't exactly thrilled the Griz faithful with his win/loss record, but he's a good man and a good fit for what they needed in a coach when he came back from retirement.

But yeah, probably time to pass the torch.

Maybe you could hire the CCU coach, he doesn't need the money. There is quite a bit of difference between Myrtle Beach and Bozman however. Personally, I would choose MT.

Google isn't hard to operate.

University of Montana address takes 2 seconds to type and about .3 seconds to return the answer...
