Huge win for CSU. They move to 8-3. 8-4 finish coming w playing Georgia next week.
Any shot at an at-large? That PC loss haunts us.

Zero. None.
The same chance add Jacksonville has to win the PFL auto... Or South Dakota getting at at large

The score does not reflect the degree of the loss. For some reason our brilliant playcalling included throwing on first and goal from the 4 when we have been running through them like Taco Bell after a night of partying. I do not, nor did anyone else in the CSU section, understand why we continue to do this. Game would have been 45-29 and maybe ended 45-36
Great job by our whole team. Go Coastal

A lot of people think the Big South deserves 2...just like the SoCon used to get 2-3 in.
CSU will have losses to #1 Coastal, Vanderbilt and UGA of the SEC, and Presbyterian. Biggest win is Liberty.
If CCU beats Liberty...some say CSU has a shot.

Congrats bucs90. I'm really not a fan of scheduling two FBS teams and I think that cost you guys this year. I mean, losing to PC was a big blow but any SEC game is a guaranteed loss. 8-4 is great but not enough for the playoffs.
Looks like Chuck South is the new Liberty - overshadowed by an elite team that shouldn't be in the conference (referencing Stony Brook of course).

I would think that a Liberty win over CCU would play in Chuck's favor...of course, THAT relies on the tenuous extended logic of having beaten the team that beat the #1 team in the country...AND relies on the Committee to go against decades of one-bidding the Big South and suddenly giving them THREE...as a 10-1 CCU team would STILL have to be considered for a seed....

Great news. Opens up another slot for a team from the BSC, MVFC or the CAA...you know, the conferences the playoff participants SHOULD be coming from.

6-4 vs Div I won't get you in from just about any conference. Scheduling 1 Div II is bad. 2 is inexcuseable. In addition to that have non scholly Cambell.
Unless Liberty upsets CCU, the Big South will get only 1 in.

Coastal is in no matter what. Will be interesting if Liberty beats them though as you would need to give consideration to Liberty, CSU and even Presbyterian. I think if Coastal wins they get the only bid, if Liberty wins then Coastal and Liberty are in.

It's a good win. Coastal will hammer in the final nail into Liberty's coffin.

Are you high? 2 teams is a stretch but 3?! And I'm not saying the game is in the bag, LU is a tough game for us, but unless you're injured QB improves and CCU loses Ross, Henderson and Israel- I would say Liberty has a tough time ahead of them. Having said that, CSUs loss to Presby is a black eye. Liberty has to win next week.

What a bullshit comment. If the teams in the conferences were deserving then we wouldn't be having this conversation. There isn't a single thing wrong with 2 teams from the Big South playing in the playoffs. The SoCon has relinquished its standing and the Big South is taking up the mantle.

with 6 wins, Presby is out. Even a CCU loss next week won't help them.

None. You guys have no chance and Liberty has next to zero.
IF Liberty wins next week I would say they have a great shot at getting an at-large.

Liberty would have the aq.
Liberty is out without a w.
Big South gets 1 if/when CCU beats liberty
Do people not understand how this works?

I said consideration. If someone is looking at CSU then they darn well would look at the team that beat them at their place. I agree that CCU and Liberty are the only teams likely under consideration for the playoffs and that would still be a stretch for Flames even with a win over CCU.
