Starting to shape up, but still lots of question marks. Let's see what you have. I posted this after week 5...

MVFC will get NDSU and ISUR, with ISUB having a chance.

No margin for error left for the Griz.

I say let Patty V and Doug Fullerton fight it out for that last spot. I'll put my money on Patty V. She'd pull out all the stops and queef in Fullerton's face for the KO

I'd say you did pretty damn good, 89.
I bolded the questionables and will throw YSU, NAU, WCU, ISUr, IdSU, JMU, McNeese, and SFA into the mix.

IdSU? Try ISU, that'l do. Type in ISU.EDU and see where you go..... not ISUb, not ISUr and not even FBS ISU.
IMO, too early to be talking about ISU and the playoffs; however I do like NAU and their schedule.

McNeese is once again severely depleted by injury. Happens every year. I'm waiting for ONE year where they start off looking like they have a really good team then don't have this happen.
This time there was a lot of excitement about Mississippi State transfer Derrick Milton and Arkansas transfer Nate Holmes. Both are out. The starting tailback was Kelvin Bennett. He's out. The leading receiver was Ernest Celestie. He's out. Probably the most dangerous game breaking speed burner receiver was Kent Shelty. He's out.
Otherwise, don't be surprised if Stephen F. Austin beats Sam Houston State this weekend and pretty much ends the BearKats playoff hopes. Part of the reason they beat Southeastern Louisiana this week is that Lion quarterback Bryan Bennett had some kind of injury and did not play the first half. The announcers said they hoped to get through the game without him. He played the second half and they looked better on offense but Stephen F. Austin's offense punished them physically pretty good. This is a different Stephen F. Austin. Much more physical. They've got a big, physical quarterback who runs the ball like a fullback and a very physical running back who was going Adrian Peterson (Georgia Southern version) on Southeastern Louisiana defenders. You know, tossing them aside when they tried to tackle him.

yup, NDSU is totally questionable as far as making the playoffs.

Since you bolded NDSU, you should have put Delaware State into the mix to complete the joke.

Hey, butt out...I was here first. I had this same observation ready to go until my son started reading me part of a Dave Barry book.

SFA had a grand total of 331 yards of total offense (150+ under their average coming in), averaged less than 4 yards per carry on 47 attempts, and averaged under 5 yards per play for the game on 68 snaps. Johnson is a good back and had a nice game but 40 of his 116 yards came on one run and 27 more on two others. In the other 19 carries he had 39 yards ... I'd hardly call that "punishing." They did do a good job of using the entire play clock and keeping the ball out of our hands. We also had 16 penalties which was as big a factor in the game as anything, besides Bennett not playing in the first half.
They're not as good as NW or UCA IMO, and not sure they're better than Lamar either.

Montana won't get in. If we get past Sac, EWU and sadly, MSU will probably beat us.

I'm sorry, but I've been away for awhile - where's Delaware?

Yep. We'd have been better off scheduling Robert Morris and Incarnate Word, or Houston Baptist, or Abeline Christian, instead of Wyoming and a D-2.

Yeah! Schedule light so you can at least make another early exit!

SC State has played their way into first place in the MEAC with victories over both NC A&T and Bethune-Cookman. Their only likely remaining bump in the road could come on the 15th against Morgan State (who could play their way in by beating A&T and SC State) ...

Works for all the EC(b) teams...and to be honest, I don't have a problem with EITHER Wyoming OR Central Washington being on the schedule, but not in the same year. Only leaves you 9 games to win 8.

They haven't moved. Still sandwiched between PA, Jersey and Maryland.

I watched the game. They "out-physicaled" Southeastern Louisiana. They had the physical edge on that day and I think anybody who was not a fan of either team who watched the game would say that. If I had to bet I'd bet that if Bennett had played the entire game Southeastern Louisiana would've won. But I don't think that's a lock. And Johnson was very physical. He punished people who tacked and/or attempted to tackle him.
I don't think you're giving Stephen F. Austin in general or Johnson in particular the credit they deserve for the way they played that game.

Wyoming was winnable, though. I'm pretty sure the Griz would've won if Schmaing & Poole had been available, or even if JJ hadn't lost his accuracy for that game.
