Big South week 8 scores

Only 2 games this week, Gardner Webb vs VMI and Presbyterian vs CSU.
GWU pulled out a thriller in OT over VMI. Another win for the BSC over the SoCon. Good solid win by GWU.
My beloved Bucs lost another heartbreaker. What I feared most seems like it came true. That 1 point loss to SEC Vandy, which the Bucs clearly should've won....stuck with them for a week and they haven't gotten over it. All props to PC though. They're a good team, not the same PC from the last 5 years. But damn....CSU was in such a funk on offense. They aren't over that Vandy loss, and it showed.

Ibanez...I know I said Coastal vs CSU week would be one where I'd have to talk mad shit, all in fun of course. But...after this PC loss, I don't know if its appropriate. We're a wounded animal right now. Back-to-back heartbreaking losses. Truly should've beaten Vandy. Today, it was so obvious from close to the sideline that the players minds were still on last week. Most fans in the stands were still talking Vandy far into the 2nd quarter of PC...until we realized PC was about to beat us.
We're in a funk. A bad hangover. Wish Vandy had blown us out.
I'm hoping we are now OVER it, and over this loss, and are 100% all-in for Coastal next week. Because even at 100% focus, Coastal is better than us, so anything less than that and you guys will hammer us. So, I cant talk any fun trash this week man.

The loss against Gardner-Webb today was just devastating. We came all the way back from a 31-13 fourth quarter deficit with three TDs including one off a pick. Then of course we give up a first down on 4th and 20 with less than :40 left and it leads to a GWU field goal. Alternate TDs in first OT, miss FG, Dawgs burn us on very next play. Ball game.
Sick to my stomach. Sparky has got to go after this year, only a complete moron would renew his contract after this god-awful play for the past 6 years.

Damn. Losses like that just destroy a teams mind. Hopefully it wont happen, but, I bet this loss haunts VMI for the next week or two. It takes 18-22 year olds a while to get over heartaches like this. The near-win over Vandy still haunts CSU, and we had better clear our minds before Coastal next week.
