Man, that's a tough blow. Conference title race just got a lot more interesting...

Tough break for VA, but I'm excited to see what Jordan West can do.

Wow, that's really too bad.

Yet, why did he play more than half the game lame? Football needs to get rid of the warrior mentality where players are commended for going back on the field.

Fortunately for Eastern Washington their schedule over the remainder of the regular season, with the exception of Montana on November 8, doesn't look TOO daunting.

The announcers during the game were commenting that the coaches wanted to take Adams out & he refused. I figured Baldwin would've forced him to sit if it was really that serious, but maybe I'm wrong about that.

Not to get picky, but I hope he's out 5 weeks.

That's gotta mean a loss if not more somewhere - EWU can't stop anybody it seems like.

It doesn't have to but I had us losing one conference WITH VA. But jeep in mind were also down a starting receiver in Mitchell, our number running back Forte, and we're a mash unit on d. This is looking like 2011. Starting to anticipate which starter(s) go out this week.

Tough break, hate to see a great player get hurt. Hope he's back to 100% for the playoffs.

I hope Adams doesn't get the Alex Smith treatment.

It's highly unlikely the 2nd string guy is demonstrably and inarguably better than VA, so I doubt that's gonna happen.

I personally don't think so, but I guess we'll see. The article in the Spokesman today said that the "bones are well-aligned" and that they should heal fairly quickly. So six weeks might be a realistic time frame.

Plus he's what, 21? If he drinks enough milk I'd be surprised if he wasn't at least back for the playoffs.
