Only disagreement I have in there is Albany - don't know how good they are yet. They play JMU this week so we'll find out Saturday.

Where has MaineJeff been the last month? Maine gets a mild upset win to get up to .500, and he shows up..

I would have UNH #1 after their win at Richmond
Villanova #2
UR #3
W&M #4
Delaware #5
Maine #6
Albany #7
The rest same as Maine Jeff

How's that new stadium working out for you?

And Maine loses back to back games to fall to 2-4, and MaineJeff disappears. Likely won't see him for the rest of the season. So predictable.

Nowadays I'd rank them:
1- Nova
2- UNH
3- UR
4- W&M
5- UD
6- JMU
7- StB
8- ALB
9- Maine
10- Elon
11- TSU
12- URI

This is a pretty good cut. Maybe UNH with their big win over W&M deserves top ranking. Is Towson really this bad? Worse than Elon! OMG.
It must sting you a little putting the Cats on top but you get props for doing so.

I think JMU is getting better every game. The Hens...not so sure. If UD played them again, I don't think we come out on top. But, we beat them.
It will be interesting to see how UR does without their starting QB. Hens don't play them, but it might come down to UR or UD for the last CAA spot.
As far as the rest of the Hens' schedule goes, if Devine puts away his coloring book boring offense, we can score. And if we don't play prevent D, we can win. So, it is up to the coaches to ATTACK, or we lose (see Sacred Heart on O and the second half of Elon on D).
We should stomp Towson...no way around that. The people who thought they'd be good simply weren't paying attention. W&M is beatable...not much offense. Then Rhody...nothing more than a pit stop on the way to a win. Albany is beatable...so the Hens are looking at a playoff birth even before we hit UNH and nova.

I agree with the above except would flip TU and Elon. Right now TU (2-5/0-3) I think might be a hair better than Elon (1-5/0-2). I realize that is taking 2 turds and arguing which one stinks worse..

The CAA points toward 3 playoff teams.
UNH & Nova look like locks today.
UR has a decent shot - QB situation makes it somewhat gray but many other CAA teams would trade UR's depth under center for their own.
Everyone else is going to have their work cut out for them.
Already eliminated: Elon, TSU & URI
Teetering: StB & Maine

Like I said on the other thread, the CAA will likely get 4 in. A 16 team field only 3. A 20 team field. Either 3 or 4. But with a 24 team field the greatest odds are for 4. The UNH/VU/UR and 1 of W&M/UD/JMU. 1 of them will get in at 8-4 or possibly 9-3. If I had to make a $ bet I would go with 4.

This. It's going to actually be hard to get to 24 teams this year...
EWU
Montana State
Montana
Coastal
Chuck So
Villanova
UNH
Richmond
W&M
Bethune
NCAT
NDSU
Illinois St
SIU
SDSU
Sacred Heart
EKU
JSU
Fordham
Jacksonville
Chattanooga (did everyone realize Samford and WCU both had 2 D2's on their schedule?)
SELA
Sam Houston
and I still have room for one more like an 8-4 NAU or somebody like that. Still think 16 wasn't the right number folks?

Yeah, the opening weekend of the playoffs is just flat out ugly. Granted, it wasn't all that great back when there were just 16 teams, but at least the top 8 played. Hard to get juiced up about a Sacred Heart/SELA matchup in the opening weekend. Not really appointment webcast watching.

Not bad. I got 17 of 23 right in mid-October (18 if JU didn't declare themselves ineligible).
