JMU was # 1 in the CAA in rushing defense last year and # 1 in sacks but dead last in pass defense. The pass defense is much improved but the run defense, after losing 4 of the front 7 from last season plus a 5 that has been out due to injury, has been HORRENDOUS. From last season lost/missing:
-1st team All CAA DL, Jordan Stanton, now with the NY Giants
-3rd team all CAA DE
-All World LB Stephon Robertson.
-3rd team All CAA Soph LB Gage Steele has missed the 1st 2 games to injury and played sparingly last week.
On top of that JMU went from a 4-3 which had been running forever, to a 3-4 under their new coaching staff, and has been a disaster so far. Given up rushing:
vs UMD: 285
vs Lehigh: 287
vs StFU: 292

So the level of competition has been going down, but the yardage given up has been going up slightly. Very troubling sign...

VU at home coming off of a bye week with a great rushing game.3 things that will hopefully keep VU in the 30s and the game from being a complete route and VU rushing for 350+ on JMU:
-Robertson is in a cast on his non throwing hand. Hopefully hopefully he fumbles 1 or 2 times that he otherwise wouldn't have, and maybe not carrying the ball as much as be otherwise would have.
-Their kickers SUCK. 1 of 4 through 1st 2 games with 2 missed PATs..
-JMU hopefully gets Gage Steele back starting.

Both Albany and Delaware are ranked this week at #24 and #25 respectively. There are 6 ranked CAA teams going into a conference play. I guess we will find out soon if Albany is a title contender. Villanova and New Hampshire still appear to be the early title favorites.

It's a sad reflection on how bad FCS football is nowadays.

If YOU don't know why, 93, then you haven't paid attention. I've told everyone a zillion times that Stacy Keibler went to Towson State. All of the Towson State folk on the board know that already.

Nobody cares, and that's why nobody will remember and you'll have to repeat the story in the future.

You must realize that women are inferior athletes, and so people do not remember their accomplishments any more than they would any person who is second place or worse in any endeavor.

What people remember about women is when they bang people that aren't their lawfully wedded husband, like Amy Grant did. What a satanic whore!

Was she the girl who blew most of the basketball team while posing for the camera, and then tried to sue for character defamation when they posted it to a porn site?
