That probably means that the offense kept sputtering just outside field goal range for their kicker AND that he's skilled at coffin corner kicks, which not very many bother with anymore. If anything, the final score lends credence to that.

Man, I wish Ray Guy were back. Not only could he boom it when necessary, he could also find the corner like a neurosurgeon. Too many people claiming to be punters today just try to hang it up over the goal line and hope the coverage team saves it from touchback-land. SMH....

To me that was not as surprising as Southeastern Louisiana never even being in the game with Tulane.

BTW, Sam Houston State had only one net yard of offense in the first half. ONE. I have to believe most of what they got came after CSUP called off the dogs. CSUP was leading 47-7 about 3 minutes into the fourth quarter. Sam Houston State quarterbacks were sacked EIGHT times. It was a TOTAL butt whipping on both sides of the ball.
