It's time to pick week 3 winners and losers.
Thursday, Sep. 11th
Stillman @ Samford
Saturday, Sep. 13th
Chattanooga @ Austin Peay
Davidson @ VMI
Catawba @ Western Carolina
Mercer @ Stetson
Furman @ Presbyterian
North Greenville @ Wofford
Should be a SoCon sweep this week.

Davidson @ VMI Gotta beat the worst team in FCS.
Catawba @ Western Carolina
Mercer @ Stetson
Furman @ Presbyterian
North Greenville @ Wofford
PC hasn't beat us since the 70s. The games since then haven't been close until the last two years. We will be facing another team with a lot of motivation to get the win since it is in Clinton and we won last year by blocking their game winning FG. I hope the coaching staff figures out how to get the offense in the endzone or it will be another close one that shouldn't be.

Disappointed in the Mocs performance this week, but against AP should be no contest. They beat them handily 42-10 last year
Davidson @ VMI
The 35-7 pounding Davidson got from Catawba last Saturday gives me all I need to know...hopefully we can win this one big.
Catawba @ Western Carolina
I won't count the Indians out, but WCU should win this one.
Mercer @ Stetson
This is incredibly difficult because Stetson got absolutely destroyedby Florida Tech last week 54-12 (!!!!). So I reluctantly pick the Bears but will not be surprised if they find a way to lose.
Furman @ Presbyterian
Furman wins a close one, probably in the same fashion they did against Mercer last week.

My homies at the Mercer-Furman game said Mercer was not very good and....Furman was not very good. Should make for some sweaty Furple palms next weekend as they lose to PC (and Bears lose to Stetson).

Were your homies Patriot league fans because, if so, the wouldn't know good if it hit them in the face.

Western Carolina is in the midst of a eight-game winning streak in the overall series. The Blue Hose have not defeated the Catamounts since 1969 when they downed the Cats 28-17 in Cullowhee. The two teams last played in 2008 in Clinton, in the second game of a home and home series, both won by the Catamounts.
