WTF ESPN? GameDay is suppose to be about showcasing compelling matchups, not the most lopsided possible. 
Lots of schools have great fan followings. Every week you see Gameday broadcasting from the site of one of the most, if not the most, compelling matchup. Of course Montana vs NDSU is more compelling and other schools have great fan followings, thank you Captain Obvious. NDSU had one of the best Game Day shows without a great matchup last year, and I don't think ESPN cares that much about FCS matchups per the over-all picture for their viewers. Fargo treated ESPN great and ESPN is returning the favor again this year. A 26 game winning streak is what they are following, with a school that has a new coach, new AD and a cast of new players. Thousands of Bison fans dressed in green and yellow filled the streets last year and many spectators cheered from windows, patios and rooftops.
The Bison currently sit atop of both Football Championship Subdivision polls. The team downed Iowa State in its first game of the season, 34-14, for its 25th straight victory and its fifth straight win over an FBS school.
"Last year was one of our more memorable scenes in the history of the show and you couple that with the fact that they are clearly the most dominant team, most talked about team in FCS ... we're expecting the same type of scene again on Saturday," Fitting said. "We can't wait."
