Next closest game, Villanova, was delayed for a bit earlier but got enough of a window to get theirs in. Newark was a lightningfest from kickoff (6pm) until 7pm with waves of storms lined up all night.

JMU @ Lehigh was delayed (I never saw lightning). Delay was at halftime, and I couldn't see any storm clouds much less any lightning. So halftime went over an hr. Didn't start looking nasty till about 4 PM, late in the 4th qtr. Were wondering if we're going to take another delay..

Albany @ CCSU delayed.

Thats 4 of 9 CAA games.

On another note, it is also the last game of the series that UD was forced to schedule at gunpoint of the PC police at ESPN. Delaware never wanted this series in the first place, and now DSU can't get it over with fast enough.

I'm putting actual attendance at ~7,500 with reported 17,500.

Who's gonna be your annual OOC rival? DSU seems perfect for UD. Only other state Div I, almost guaranteed easy W, every game @ UD, no better than WCU (maybe not as good most seasons) yet count as a Div I opponent...

There are no shortage of FCS patsies to wheel through. The only problem is that we suck now too. It all started with the loss to Albany when they were NEC.

Colgate and Sacred Heart at the Tub this season.

You guys gotta keep a record of this game here for me to read when I get back from the crab feast. I won't be watching or listening.

I saw highlights of DSU-Monmouth last week and it looked like DSU has a little bit of a vertical game. Their linemen blow as usual, but they do have skill players that are decent. I hope our DBs are ready.
