Overall: 3-10
vs. FCS: 1-0
Overall: 2-0
Best Performance: Southern Utah 19, (FBS) Nevada 28 - The team defense stats weren't great, but Thunderbird LB Chinedu Ahanonu registered a Big-Sky record 28 tackles in a surprisingly close loss.
Worst Performance: Cal Poly 10, (FBS) New Mexico St. 28 - The Mustangs lose convincingly to a weak FBS squad they were actually favored to beat.
Most Surprising Result: Cal Poly 10, (FBS) New Mexico St. 28 - After falling behind by 18 with 8:51 to play, the Mustangs only attempt 3 passes.

Best Performance: (#17)Sam Houston St. 51, Alabama St. 20 - Jared Johnson brings back memories of the Randleman era in Huntsville by throwing 46 times for 386 yards and 3 TDs.
Worst Performance: Incarnate Word 13, Sacramento St. 49 - They didn't give up a ton of yards, but the Cardinals did allow Garret Safron to throw 5 touchdown passes on just 25 attempts. They also lost their own starting quarterback, Trent Brittain, to a season-ending ankle injury.
Most Surprising Result: (#17)Sam Houston St. 51, Alabama St. 20 - The Bearkats dismantle the preseason SWAC favorites by racking up 685 yards of offense.

Best Performance: (#2) North Dakota St. 34, (FBS) Iowa St. 14 - John Crockett & Chase Morlock each bust out 60+ yard TD runs to bookend a 34-0 Bison run.
Worst Performance: South Dakota 13, (FBS) Oregon 62 - No MVFC team really had a bad performance, but I will make fun of the Coyotes for their 18-play, 9+ minute drive that scored zero points.
Most Surprising Result: (#2) North Dakota St. 34, (FBS) Iowa St. 14 - The Bison win their 5th. straight FBS game while the Cyclones lose to an FCS for the 2nd. consecutive year.

Best Performance: Eastern Kentucky 29, Robert Morris 10 - The Colonels win the rushing battle 407-28, but can't get a blowout thanks to turnovers & redzone issues.
Worst Performance: Austin Peay 0, (FBS) Memphis 63 - Governors display little competitiveness against an FBS coming off 6 straight losing seasons.
Most Surprising Result: Tennessee Tech 33, (NAIA) Kentucky Christian 7 - The newly hyped "QW" offense commits 3 turnovers and falls short of 350 yards against an inferior opponent.
