Just can not stop Pitt's running game. Very strong, and unfortunate for the Hens. Hopefully they can get -something- going in the second half. 27 Total yards to Pitt's 322.

Delaware football: just go ahead and end it. :ohno:

Actually, FBS Appalachian State is getting equally ass-raped by Michigan. So we're not the only ones with large assholes at the end of the day.

Got back from being on the water (great day, BTW) in time to hear Mickey, on the Hens last possession (knowing the UD shouldn't have wanted to get shut out) at 3rd and 9, say that you have to try to pass in order to get the first down because you can't show your kids you've given up.

And what do we do? Run.

Good to see Brock & Co. quitting again. :dunce: :tothehand:

Checked the stats...Hens had 71 total yards. :ohno:

Can't wait to hear people blame Keeler...Brock's had this team for almost 20 months. Poor decisions...poor coaching.

Brock sucks. The University is letting the program die. Sad state of affairs. We were once a I-AA/FCS stalwart. Now we are on a solid D-II or Patriot League trajectory. Glad I won't lose a dime on this shit show anymore. :ohno:

Syracuse and Pitt both suck. Nova lost by a point. We lost by 62. I'm not saying shit about Nova. They're far better than Delaware right now.

Ya know, losing 62-0 to Pitt sucks hard, but losing to Central Connecticut State by any score sucks even harder.

I've been watching UD football for a long time.. over 50 yrs and I've never seen anything like what UD produced yesterday. I've seen UD take some severe ass whippings in the past.. but I always felt that they were aberrations and certainly not a reflection of the true state of Delaware football. I knew UD had a solid program and would bounce back quickly. Unfortunately that isn't the case here.. UD is what we saw yesterday.. a weak soft team devoid of talent. This sad state didn't occur over night.. this program has been in decline for a long time.. but the decline was somewhat masked by two very good years ('07 & '10).. which in fact were true aberrations. Yesterday was rock bottom.. the complete implosion of a once proud and nationally respected program. A Pitt reporter accurately labeled the Hens.. "Dreadful Delaware". Now the rebuilding really begins and the question is.. is David Brock capable of doing the job? I hope so.. but right now I'm far from optimistic.

I am organizing the UD fan cyanide-laced kool-aid tailgate before the Del State game next Saturday. Details later in the week. Please get your affairs in order and bring all loved ones who you also do not want to have to witness any further dismantling of a once relevant program.
