Abeliene Christian drives 80 yards on its second drive of the 2nd half to take the lead 23-21 1/2 way through the 3rd quarter.
Gonna be a long year for Ga State.

Is GSU the most embarrassing program to have ever played D1 football?

Abilene Christian is playing great.
Georgia State looks like a team that has lost 16 in a row. They've got some speed but turnovers and penalties are killing them.

Wow. Either ACU has reloaded better than I could've thought, or GSU hasn't improved at all.

The 849 Sun Belt fans go wild ...
Georgia State snags an interception and is driving deep into AC territory.

Big drive by the Wildcats there. Totally neutralized GSU's momentum.

Congrats GST. You beat a team playing its 1st full season as a I-AA. Last year Abilene Christian went 6-5, but they played 6 Div II games..

Well THAT sucked considerably. So now the Sun Belt has the series lead over the Southland 11-10 and you have to like their chances of moving to a 2 game cushion when Abllene Christian plays Troy in its third game (though I wouldn't be absolutely shocked if the Wildcats pull the upset).
Put me down once again for NOT being of a fan of the "Prevent the Victory" defense. In this case it may not have mattered because they didn't look like they could stop Georgia State regardless. But, hell, GO AFTER THE QUATERBACK. Go ahead and take the shot and if they score quickly at LEAST you get the ball with some time left when your own offense has also been running up and down the field all night. And you never know. With the other team out of timeouts a couple of sacks run out the clock.
Good heavens I hate the "three man rush" thing when I'm pulling for the team with the lead in that situation. I wonder if there's even any real evidence that it increases your odds of winning.

Divide that by 6.93 to get the actual.

Are you forgetting about VMI and WCU?
