with a couple weeks of open discussion in my Big South position previews, I thought I would hop in here and try a little something.

With the Big South Media Day set for next week (Wednesday or Thursday I forget which) in North Carolina, I thought it would be fun to see if all my Big South fans would like to take a stab at the Preseason All-conference awards for Offensive PoY, Defensive PoY and CoY as well as the preseason all-conference team (first team only). I will post my picks next week after I post the DL open discussion but I would love to see what everyone thinks as we are just over a month and a half away from Kickoff 2014

Clayton Truitt - OL CSU (made it last year)
Christian Reyes - RB CSU (now that Taliaferro is gone should be 1st easily)
At least half of Gardner Webb's defense if the publications are to be believed
Ross from CCU (probably also OPOY)
Backus from CCU ( probably also DPOY)
Sigmon from Liberty

Also think Freeman from CSU has a great shot as DB

Here is my guess (will start with offense skill positions, will add others as I finish my position previews)

QB- Alex Ross CCU (although Josh Woodrum will get quite a few votes as well)
RB- Christian Reyes CSU
RB- Juanne Blount GWU (Des Rice probably would have been in this spot if not for his knee injury)
WR- Darrin Peterson LU
WR- Kenny Cook GWU
WR- Toby Antigha PC
TE- Mike Estes GWU
