Some of the nationally-minded FCS fans are aware of the issues concerning the SWAC. Just posting it for further discussion.

Certainly the SWAC has its special issues with recruiting and competing. However, many non-HBCU FCS teams fight paltry budgets, as well. Though more gifted than SWAC teams, operations at places like UNI and Missouri State are strapped parallel to their situations and it's a dirty little secret that many more prominent FCS teams are hurting behind the scenes.
Still, one thing we often forget is that the I-AA/FCS model is supposed to be one of cost-containment.
