I like this scheduling quite a bit and according to our press release, Chaves is working on another FCS home and home for 2016 and 2017.

Love the HH, but FFS, why are the other schools such pussy bitches (pun intended) about playing at home first? The red turf/flying to WA scare them that much they need a chance to backout?

Great move. I like the fact that we are getting into the habit of playing home and homes with prominent FCS programs. More FCS programs should follow suit.

Montana hopefully makes up for it with the NDSU home and home

Montana H&H with App St was also a great scheduling move.

UNI vs EWU should be a couple great games.

Well you see, the first time they measured, it wasn't an EWU first down and the game was over, but when they moved the sticks back a half yard then....

Cap'n Cat and D1B played in that 1985 game, which was not as close as the score indicated. I remember our all-star running back, Carl Boyd, dropping multiple easy passes for first downs and big gains, so much so that, on the sidelines, I asked him if he was trying to throw the game.

In 1989, Cap'n Cat was a GA at UNI and remembers the coaching staff telling us that the EWU coach at the time had been bothering his AD about a rematch, knowing that they shoulda beat UNI back in 1985, and could in '89. Didn't work out that way, though.

Looking forward to the games.

I would love for EWU to come back East to play Towson. Their team was very nice to us, and the red turf really isn't all that menacing. Maybe they could even let the defense stay in the hotel like they did back in December.

Nostalgia! I watched that game on a 12 inch black and white tv with the picture half scrambled. I was 14 and pissed off at the outcome.

Perhaps the Cap'n and D should make the trip out to Cheney '16 and watch that game with Kalm...
