They installed new grass in November then had a deep freeze, so it didn't take root properly.

Chattanooga should have been stripped of hosting after the 04' turf debacle.
Frisco should be stripped of hosting after today's debacle.

How hard can it be to just plant some grass that doesn't come up in huge clumps? There is no excuse for the field condition. NONE.

This is the year to put some pressure on them to fix this mistake while their cash registers are full
They've been spoiled the last three years

Grass doesn't grow that fast...especially in winter. That looked like sod that hadn't completely taken.

FC Dallas played their last home game Oct 19, fwiw.

Not that 2 weeks would have made a huge difference...but no reason to wait until Nov to get the sod laid when the season was done Oct 19

After this contract is done they need to go ahead and put the championship game in a dome with field turf. I realize that really narrows it down but that's what they need to do.

Cedar Falls, Fargo, Vermilion, and Grand Forks....not exactly places fans well want to go this time of year. I'm not sure any of them got above zero today with wind chill...

Field turf at the least. If it's not going to be in a dome then somewhere in a subtropical zone that has field turf.

Those were A-10 fans in 2004. Completely different.

They don't care about fcs football. period!
