Fordham @ Towson

Fordham's a passing team, Towson's (primarily) a running team. Towson's pass defense is waaaayyyy better than Fordham's run defense. Seriously, Fordham's run D is awful and they're facing Terrence West. It could be a disaster for the Rams, though Nebrich & co. should keep them in it for a while. My only other thought is that Towson better score TDs in the redzone because their kicking game ain't good.

Here's my assessment of the matchups & my pick for the game:

      • Quarterbacks -- Fordham

        Running Backs - Towson

        Receivers/TEs - Fordham

        Offensive Line - Towson

        Defensive Line - Towson

        Linebackers --- Towson

        Secondary ---- Fordham

        Kicking ------ Fordham

        Punting ------ Fordham

        Return Teams - Fordham

        Kickoffs ------ Towson

        • Fordham 25-42 Towson

21-7

Towson taking care of business. Surprising when you consider Fordham is the best team in the east this year. ;)

Does anyone have a photo of the amazing crowd there today?

My phone is dead or I'd have one.

It's raining, cold, and it's a campus of women. Can't be more than 2500.

If that....

I do love the small crowed allowing me to hear the same guy yelling "YOU'VE GOTTA BE SHITTIN ME" every time he doesn't like a call

That's actually a decent crowd. The two empty sections are the visitor section. Delaware fans would have filled that up easily for a playoff game. Apparently Fordham fans don't travel. Sad.

Assuming the home side is mostly full that's at least 8,000. You made it sound like a bad crowd and it's not.

The other side isn't better.

I can't find the only time they've shown the other side but it was worse than that.

Also the camera zoomed before getting to the far side as well. The other end is empty as well.

Again, I'll wager 8000. Can you get a shot of the home side?

Edit: read your latest. Maybe 6k then.

I'm trying to find one. ESPN3 controls are laggy and they only showed the home side once and I can't remember what part of the game it was.

21-14 now

How is this game going? I've been going from one Amish woodshop to another all day getting cabinet quotes. They make beautiful stuff but it is $$$.

This is back at about 8 minutes into the game.

Tough to see because of the graphic, but it's not good. I'm seeing if anything else popped up that I i missed live

So Towson is probably double the attendance of the schools from last week. Those numbers were truly pathetic.

The other half of the visitor side

For the most part this camera/production crew is doing a hell of a job staying tight on the the field and same small group of about 30 fans during crowd shots

Yeah.

The field won't be shrinking, we know that. However, the NCAA needs to stop playing games the weekend of thanksgiving/fbs rivalry weekend. Push the games back one more week and then go - downside is 2 weeks off for the teams with byes - but oh well

Montana with a sparse crowd as well, according to that thread.

21-21 with 41 seconds to go in the first half.

Fordham recovers the kickoff.

I'm going to all of the games to try to get screen shots/pictures of the crowds

Cameras at EIU have yet to leave a very tight zoom of the field....even on punts they just scan the field to the returner instead of zooming out like normal

Good to see Fordham hang for a bit.

Towson gets lazy from time to time. Saw that in person.

21-21 at the half. Fordham just misses 41-yard field goal as time elapses.
