First Bama, is NDSU next?

No three-peat for Bama. Can the same happen for NDSU? No in-state rivalry game, but is there a team that could pull it off?

I wouldn't read too much into one voter rating NDSU #25.keydet21 wrote:Look at this, how is North Dakota State better than 80-some FBS teams?
And no, I don't think any team is beating NDSU.
They are a great team, but I wouldn't buy into the hype too much.keydet21 wrote:Look at this, how is North Dakota State better than 80-some FBS teams?

I'm not saying there's anyone that would remotely be favored to beat them, but this is college football and the playoffs. Anything can happen.keydet21 wrote:Why not?EWURanger wrote:

-They beat Kansas State who managed to go 7-5, 5-4 in the Big 12
-They beat SDSU, Youngstown State, and Southern Illinois (the 3 other winningest MVC teams) by a combined score of 86-27
-They are the only undefeated FCS team (although Eastern Illinois came close to beating NIU)
Upsets can happen, but I don't see any team beating the Bison.
Gil Dobie wrote:The difference between NDSU and Alabama might be the number of returning starters. NDSU returned 24 Seniors who last lost in the playoffs to eventual National Champion EWU, in OT, on the road, in 2010. Alabama returned 13 starters, NDSU 18, plus a couple former starters returning from injuries. NDSU can be beat, but unlike Bama, they have more experience returning this year. Another difference is that Alabama lost to their rival on the road. NDSU plays at home until they lose or Frisco.
Right, Bama has less of a chance for a 3-peat.BlackFalkin wrote:Gil Dobie wrote:The difference between NDSU and Alabama might be the number of returning starters. The Bison are pretty well rounded.
